Al Maktoum International Airport has one passenger terminal, so everyone comes out into the same arrivals area. That makes meeting simpler, and busier when several flights land together. Agree one exact spot in the hall.

• Inside the arrivals hall, a few metres back from the doors passengers come through.
• At one landmark you can both name: a numbered exit, a café sign or the information desk.

International arrivals go through passport control and customs before the arrivals hall. Domestic flights within United Arab Emirates are usually much quicker.
